We’re joining in with the RSPBs Big Wild Sleepout this weekend and staying open later than usual
Visit us on Saturday afternoon to get ready for your own overnight adventure. Join in the activities all afternoon from 3pm to 6pm (entry to the Gardens for this event is £2 for everyone over 5 years old.)
The RSPBs Big Wild Sleepout is encouraging us all to go on a wild adventure and find out about night time nature.
Whether you are part of the Wild Challenge, or just want to learn more about nature, come along for these free activities for all the family.
BrumBats, RSPB, Birmingham Astronomy Society and others will be leading drop in activities all afternoon. Among the activities are:
- Find out about bats and how to spot them
- Make a wild animal tracker
- Build a hedgehog tunnel, to see if you have any in your garden.
- Have a (safe) close up look at the Sun
Spend the afternoon with us and prepare for your own night time garden spotting.

The 211th Scout group will be taking over the site in the evening for an onsite sleepover (sorry all places are now full)
